We’re Amy and Tye, a partner duo bringing to you handcrafted timber baths and basins from the Byron Bay area, Australia.

Tye is a carpenter and builder who has spent the last couple of years working in the commercial industry. He has recently branched into residential builds, and has learned his preference for a work environment that allows him to set his own pace and to use his carpentry skills to design and create pieces that he would love for his own home. Amy works in allied health, and has been a long term lover of a healthy work + life balance. Achieving a life balancing work with fun and adventure has always been one of her values to live by.

We acknowledge that we are lucky and privileged to be able to work flexibly, which over the past year has allowed us to spend time as a family and to start YOKU.
Our business is still in the early stages, and we are excited to see how our brand and style blossom over the next few years. We have experienced that starting a new business (on the back of having a baby) comes with its highlights and its challenges. We have already learned so much and look forward to growing personally alongside the business. At this stage, we are so excited about the handcrafted timber bathtubs and basins that we create. We hope they are enjoyed by our customers as much as we enjoy making them, cause at the end of the day - we are happy when you’re happy. 

With a love of timber, we source our products ethically and responsibly, using timber that is Australian grown, harvested & milled, and sustainably sourced. We appreciate our customers for supporting our small business.
